I've lived at Avalon for a year now, and have to admit, it's by far the best apartment community I've lived in. The biggest plus, apart from it's location (proximity to stores and the Metra line), is the staff here. They are extremely friendly and congenial, and are a pleasure to work with.
I'm honestly very surprised to see the negative comments from people who've lived here in the past. They've probably not lived at too many other apartment communities to understand what really qualifies as 'fantastic customer service'. And as far as their pricing goes, for the location and space, I think it's it's a pretty fair deal.
Maintenance requests at Avalon are always taken care off instantly, and I've never really had to deal with bad neighbours,too much noise, or unpleasant staff.
I would strongly advise anyone looking to move here to give it a try, and you will not be disappointed. From the minute you step into the office, up to the length of your stay at Avalon, I doubt you'll have much to complain about. It's a pleasure living here.
To top it all off, you're provided with a skywalk connecting the parking garage to the building, avoiding the need to walk outdoors on bad weather days.
