I have lived at Arbor Lakes for over a year. When I first found this place, it was like a dream came true. It was nice, clean and the management team was very caring and curteous. In the past 6 months, that has all changed. Every time I come into the office for a complaint, I am always replied to with sarcasm. Once I came in to tell them about the main door to the apartment wouldn't lock, and their reply was "We did that on purpose, for your convienance" If I didn't know better I would think that they did do it on purpose. Of course, they were just joking, but that is not the professionalism tat I am looking for in people that are managing the place where I live. I also recieved flowers for a birthday present. A few days later, when the sender called me to asked if I recieved them, I had not idea what he was talking about. After some searching around, I was told that the office had them and never even bothered to notify me that I had something at the office. Ofcourse the flowers had died, and the flower delivery company was held responsible. And this wasn't the only time. Just recently I ordered a christmas present for my husband that had been sitting in the office for 5 days before I called and their answer was they were going to notify me that day. That was 5 day later! and they acted like it was ok. The parking is a joke. If come home after 11 p.m., there is not one parking space to be found. I have to park in another lot, which isn't very convienant. The laundry room is always messy. It seems like no one removes their lint from the dryer. And even though the posted laundry room hours are 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. There have been incidents were the washer and drier were running well past 11:00 p.m. Then when I resigned the contract they started chargin me for water, sewage, and trash without any sort of notice. Then when I called them, they said that they had posted notices which I never saw, even though I read everything that they post. Not to mention that three months after I resigned my lease, the rent statement still wasn't reflecting the correct amount I owe.

I am a pretty understanding person, or so I have been told. I don't complain about much, and I usually let the small things roll off my back. But when I am paying for a service and all I get is sarcasm and a headache I feel I should warn others before they consider this place. Little things add up and when I come home from a stressful day at work, I just want to relax and I don't get to do that here.
I feel I need to let everyone know what they are getting into!
