I've been living at arbor lakes for 3 months now and I probably would not make the decision again. While the apartment itself and the grounds are really nice, there are some things I can't deal with. First, when I went to sign the lease, they told me about the water, sewer, and garbage charges that will be tacked onto my rent. They didn't tell me this when I put down the deposit. While I don't mind paying it, I would have liked to know that prior to signing. The internet is HORRIBLE. They do force you into a specific company and the internet is so slow... in addition you can NEVER reach someone if your internet should go down. If you call (either during hours, M-F 8-5pm) or out of hours, you get sent to a message service and a tech will call you back. Which means that they are never available to you, instead you have to be available to them. There is only one washer and dryer for the building (of 8 apartments) which means only one person can wash at a time. For the most part, I'm just living here until something more permanent comes along, but I would not make this my home.
