Questions about Airport Noise

One of the postings from 7/30/2002 indicates that there is a lot of airport noise in Archstone.

I am thinking about renting an apartment at Shalamar East, which is just a few blocks north of Archstone. Does Shalamar East also have airport noise'

One person at the Shalamar East rental office told me that the flight patterns from O'Hare go around Shalamar and that Shalamar does not experience much airport noise.

Is this true'
