unfortunately i moved into Country Glen Apts because i needed an affordable place to live. what?s worse, 7 years later i?m still there. i live there now. i have to stay until backrent i owe is paid, due something that happened with an old roommate. regardless, i hate it. I Can?t Wait To Leave!!!!



at 1st it was ok. looking at the place & moving in, the landlord was very nice, of course. after that, it?s been a horrible, horrible battle to get ANYTHING fixed.


br>here?s a list of things that took OVER A YEAR to get fixed...



1. fist sized hole in bedroom ceiling (animals on the roof digging their way in)...after a year of asking to get it fixed someone FINALLY came out just slap a coat of caulk over it.



here?s a list of things that never got fixed & my boyfriend fixed himself...



1. bldg front door (didn?t close completely which eliminated all security)


3. kitchen cabinets (didn?t close completely)...he tightened screws & drilled new holes due to termite-eaten wood



4. bedroom closet shelves (shelf fell during our sleep due to cheap shelving & poor installation) we bought new ones



5. toilet (wasn?t flushing completely)...he changed settings



6. blinds (were broken plastic)...after finally getting new blinds he had to put them up himself for they kept blowing off our appointments for it






here?s a list of things that still haven?t been fixed after months & months of asking...



1. door buzzer in apt (doesn?t work, can?t tell who?s downstairs)...after letters & calls made about this, i?m about to have a service to fix it & send the landlord the bill.



2. exterminator spraying (seen carpenter ants & termites) landlord left a can of ant spray outside my door rather than spending money on an exterminator. they?re in the walls. i can point out chewed out pieces of wood.



the only good thing is this place has separate leases for you & your roommate if requested. i can?t find another place like that anywhere.
