I have lived here for a year now, and just signed another year lease. I have money and can move out if I wanted, but I like it here. Each building is privatly owned, so I guess it depends on the lanlord. I live by the office, and my neighbor is a cop, so that may be why I havent had any problems with crime. I did have to call the cops once because a underage girl was having a party in the hallways at 3am, and the cops were there in less than 10 minutes. My lanlord lives out of state, I have only met him twice. He e-mails me once a month to make sure that everything is o.k. in the apartment and nothing is broken. Our heat didnt work when we first moved in (i think i broke the knob off!) and he had someone out the next day. So long story short I guess it depends on where in the complex you live, and who your landlord is. I have heard stories of crime, but never seen it before
