I lived at Dama Point for 6 years. I had a 2 bedroom unit with underground parking. I purchases a VW Beetle volkswagon and had professional logos put on it reading nerds on site and was told I had to get rid of it. I could not even park it in my underground parking space. I rented an apartment across the parking lot at Central Park East and then the board finally said I could park it in the carriage after I already rented a new place. They were rude and unreasonable. Threatened to tow my car and all in all very difficut to deal with. I know park my car facing the front door of the building i used to live in.

I think this guy is sour grapes. If you let one guy do it you have to let everybody do it. The landscape is very serene here. If you start letting people have advertising on their car, truck or van the parking lot would be one large advertising nuisance. Who wants that?.

"Sour grapes"? Doubt it. Dana Point should be reinvented into a Senior citizens living center or a nursing home. Certainly the decor would not have to change in that case. Lets take a step back and take a long hard look at this hole. they don't salt the parking lots AS THEY SHOULD in the winter,.they don't remove the snow AS THEY SHOULD, they haven't changed the interior design of these buildings since they were first built some 36 years ago,..some obsession w/mauve & green,.like the unit door trims in mauve,.like it's a damn beauty salon! tacky, tacky, tacky! Hey Dana P. how about you get some beige or taupe paint and re-paint the door trims?! Or is that too tasteful for you? How about you do something w/the butt ugly hallways that look like the Grant Park underground parking garage?! What about the ever increasing assoc. fee w/nothing to show for it,...unless of course it's for that damn pool! They, meaning whoever is responsible, don't take noise complaints serious either. they just don't care because they don't have to deal w/it. Well,..word is out,.that some tenants will be taking matters into their own hands on some things. They don't want to send out noise warnings to these jerks,..we will,.and it wont be teh spineless ones they send out,......ooohh, scarry. I'm glad Im leaving this dive in 2 months.
