Nice place to live

My review on Dana Point is based on my Mom having lived there for 17 years. Dana Point is a beautifully maintained property with large grassy areas and lots of trees. And while the management may be strict in some ways (They notice if you re too noisy or doesn t like toys on the pool) this also tends to keep the riff raff to a minimum. All the amenities in my opinion are kept up, i.e. pools clean, tennis courts maintained and workout room. Etc.

While my mother lived there, she never had any problems with crime of any kind nor did I ever see anything that looked suspicious on the property so I felt that the location was very safe. Being that she was older and parked outside she did mention on numerous occasions that she felt safe there. The location is well lit as well.

Dana Point seems to me to be more suited to singles, couples or elderly people with no children; however it is located in a very good school district. It is near a very good hospital, a revived downtown area with good shopping and restaurants as well as the Arlington Heights train station. She had a nice view from her balcony. I think Dana Point is fine choice for a place to live.
