I had no problem with Shalamar Apartment when I first moved in this past summer. I thought it was a wonderful place to live for the price. Recently a managment company took over called Broad Shoulders Managment and they are the rudest people I know. They have cut my cable lines two times without letting me know why. It is ILLEGAL for them to do that. Once I get everything together I will be breaking my lease and moving out of this horrible place. Who knows what will happen next.

We have plenty of parking in the lots but now the managment is giving us parking stickers and limited amount of visitors pass. There is not point in doing this besides to upset the tenants.

Oh yeah, and someone got shot at the Tanglewood apartments last month.

When they did do re-construction to make the place look nice they didn't take that much time to do it. The cabinets are poorly put together in the kitchen and bathroom. I am so glad that I did not buy one of these condo's.

I saw some apartments at Shalamar in 2002. When did Shalamar become a condo complex? Back in 2002, the apartments were nice, and I came close to renting one. However, I did not rent because the building was too close to the airport and because the air-conditioning was wall and not central. I remember that the office staff was very nice. The two people in the rental office (Larry Jacobson and Karen Marcy) really went out of their way to answer my questions and to be friendly. They even stayed open past their hours of operation to show me apartments. I remember that Karen was also very attractive. She told me that her parents owned the building. Do Larry and Karen still work in the rental office?
