I was made to believe by the management that I could get high speed internet in my apartment, and a satellite dish access.

Believing their "smart" talk, I signed a lease. Later on, I realized that I could not get high speed internet through cable, and the only option is expensive dish based high speed connections. Also my Dish Network satellite cannot receive the signal because of a huge tree blocking the view to the satellite! When I confronted them, their response was "we never told you it is available in your aparment, nor did we commit anything in the lease".

Also have a toilet that routinely gets clogged, with the maintainence guy being called every other week to clear it up (he is kind enough to suggest that you buy a plunger and do that job yourself everytime!).

The cable provider is TVMAX who probably gets signals through a satellite and relays it through a cable (!). During rainy/stormy days, you see a message from the cable provider on the screen that reads: "Attempting to acquire satellite signal!". There is no internet option through cable. Am exploring options to see if the management has the right to limit which cable company I can choose (I am stuck with TVMAX, and cannot go with Comcast because the management has a lease agreement with TVMAX - something that?s not disclosed in the lease).

A set of management staff who have good training in making you believe on non-existent options, get you to sign a lease, and then wash their hands off later when confronted with drawbacks.

I would not recommend this complex to anyone.
