Its the best bargain (sq foot you get for the $$ you pay). Apart from the 'rude' 'cold' office staff, everything seems to be good.
So, if decide to rent here, make it a point to not get involved with the office staff else you will ruin your own day wondering where is the service and hospitality.
We used to rent in Schaumburg couple of years ago, and you literally felt that there is something called as 'quality service'. Office people would listen to you and be logical. Forget that here.
Again, I am not talking of the maintenance staff, this is the office staff I am talking about. Maintenance staff does what they are advised to do, and they do it well ;)

I agree. When I went to tour the property, the two women sitting in the office were rude and unprofessional. When I asked them questions about the apartments and the property, the tone of voice they spoke in pretty much meant "either buy something or get out".

I SO agree!!!!!! I live in SB and the staff has ALWAYS been rude, UNHELPFUL, and unprofessional. They have an overall, "we don't give a damn" attitude.
It's a shame because the apartments are nice, but not worth it when the staff and the majority of the people that live there, are so unfriendly and just seem so unkind!

I saw some apartments in Stonebridge in 2002, and the office staff was rude back then. It is amazing to learn (from the above comments) that the staff is still rude.

I lived in Stonebridge for 8 years. Moved out in 2001. Apartments were roomy and close to work. The office staff back then were rude, nasty, inconsiderate - to all women. Nice to all the men. Not just me stating this, I knew many many neighbors and both the women and men said the same thing. They never painted in the 8 years I was there, the walls are paper thin, forget about complaining about your neighbors. My walls would shake and my pictures fall down from the loud stero playing next door and the pounding coming from upstairs. I tolerated it for personal reasons however I was more than happy to leave there. The 900 building was full of kids and you could never get a washer/dryer. The help lived downstairs and they had many children. He would hog the facilities all day long on a Sunday (free-he had a key to the machine). If you had packages delivered there people in the building would steal them. Saw it with my own eyes at least 2 dozen times. Told the office who it was, etc and of course, they couldn't do anything about it. Kids hung out in the lobby - just trashing it. No one seems to care. Stay away, stay far away

Absolutely unpolite, deceptive, rude, and otherwise repulsive office personal. Maintenance is OK, but sound transparent walls are below any known standard.
