Don't make the same mistake I did

My experience here was terrible. The refused to show us the aparement before we moved in - and when we did, it looked NOTHING like the model apartments. Our building which was right across from the front office looked okay from the outside - but once inside, the walls were extremely dirty .... and the hallways stink. I have a weak stomach and would have to run up the stairs and right into the apartment to avoid the bad stench.
I had knee surgery and was on crutches for 6 weeks - that was the worst time of my life. I remember more than once when I would be half way down the stairs - and the smell in the hallways was so bad, I couldn't run and ended up throwing up.
Management refused to do anything about the stench .... and about repairing the crumbling walls in the building, the broken back door to the building (which would not lock), and the poor state of the laundry area.
On moving out, they ate up our entire security deposit even though we left the place relatively clean and just afew food stains on the living room carpet.
I was initially attracted to this place because of the savings .... but once I was there, I'd have gladly have spent an extra $100 a month to live in better surroundings.
Two of our neighbours by the way - lived two families per unit - about 8 to 10 per household. It was the parents, their children, and their childrens kids.
Do yourself a favor and look for a better place.
