When I moved into Tanglewood Apts. in 1995, I thought I got a deal - cheap rent and a good location. But it remains the ABSOLUTE WORST of the many apartment complexes all over the country I've lived in. Repeat: THE WORST. Arrogant and unresponsive management, tiny apartments, decrepit kitchen appliances that look like they were purchased from a Salvation Army thrift store, psychotic neighbors, tenants blasting heavy metal in the very early morning hours, seeing the police hauling tenants out of their apartments several times a month and hauling them to jail, potholes in the parking lot, the list goes on. One night when I called the police about a "neighbor's" banging on the walls at 3am, I was told that the Arlington Hgts. police had a quota on how many times they would respond to complaints coming from Tanglewood Apts., there was so many every night.

This is the only apartment I lived in where I broke a lease and just left after a few months. I never did that before and I never did it in any of the apts I lived in since. That is how bad it is at Tanglewood, and judging from the other reviews they still have not only NOT gotten their act together there, but they are absolutely not interested in getting their act together.

Tanglewood Apts. is a disaster on all counts, and I recommend any apartment hunter to steer well clear of them.
