Think before you rent

Yes, I've stayed here for two years because the commute to work was less than 10 minutes and my roomate and I needed some place close by. I am now moving into a home and that is why I am leaving. There are many good/bad points about this apartment. The bad first, you can hear EVERYTHING your neigbors are doing. And good luck if you are on the top floor like I am. People here are very inconsiderate to their neighbors and every night I have to put up with LOUD music and things falling off the walls. This is AFTER I went to report them to the staff and leaving multiple messages on their door. Second, be ready for STEAP heating bills. It is very drafty and in our apartment the heat doesn't even come through half of the vents. When it snows, the parking lot is not cleared in a timely manner and the entrances are often hard to get in and out. And you are always entering/exiting onto Rt12. Another bad thing was that on occasion we have had strange people trying to get into our apartment door and jump out on us. The staff, we have not a lot of interaction but when I approached them with safety concerns and noise complaints there answer was to call the police. I do not think that is the answer to everything and the noise should have been addressed by them to our neighbors. They said they were going to send a letter out regarding noise level but again never did. The garbage cans are often overfilled and terribly disgusting. The dishwasher is old and often leaks but the maintence will come in a timely manner and fix it. The good of this apartment for me was the price. It was perfect for me and a roomate. The location is great, its near to almost everything which was one of the reasons whey we stayed for two years. Also, when we saw this apartment like another person reviewed we were told that the apartments were over rented and we never got to see our apartment. Which is hard to believe because some units were empty. It also seems that the staff tries to fill buildings up because some areas of the parkings lots are filled while others are empty. I wouldn't recommend this apartment complex.
