We've been here for over a year now and are very happy. Tha walls are a little thin but that's apt. living. We've accepted it and moved on. The parking situation isn't the best but we have seen improvement. Dawn and Danielle have been nothing but wonderful to us and they are a lot of fun too. The manager obviously is doing her job, the parking situation is a lot better and the children have been behaving better. The parents are the ones who have to be sure they are not being destructive and misbehaving. The maintenance staff responds quickly and is very courteous. No matter where you are in this world, safety is a concern and We believe the staff here are really trying to make things better. The people on this site have nothing better to do than to complain. Life is what you make of it. If you are not happy, go buy a home. Apt. living is not for you. We think you people are a little harsh on the staff.
We believe the staff here is wonderful and Thank you for all you do for us!

The wall problem is not just a part of apartment living. There are numerous complexes throughout Chicago that have firewalls between each apartment. The concrete barrier also acts as insulation against noise. I've lived in such apartment communities, and unfortunately neglected to ask when I leased here. If AMLI @ Kirkland had concrete construction it would be a huge improvement.
As to the comment "go buy a home", now who's being rude? Apartment living is convenient for transitioning between moves, and management should honor the claims of worry free living if its going to make them.
