First off if you want more reviews about this property go back to search and go to Amli at Oakhurst North it is the same property and they have over 50 reviews there. We have lived here for over 2.5 years and it is a pretty nice place to live. We have nice neighbors, and like that they have an indoor and outdoor pool with fitness area as well. There is a park to play but it is pretty much just three slides for the kids. The staff is very nice and helpfull EXCEPT for the property manager and asst. Property manager. They don't get anything done. Our hot water heater broke and by the time it got fixed we had mold growing all over our house. They were supposed to clean it up but two years later and it is still a problem. Then we had NO hot water for almost two months and they did NOTHING to compensate us as they are supposed to stop charging rent once they don't get it fixed after the 2nd try. The prop. manager wouldn't even speak to us and kept avoiding our calls until I asked for her bosses name and told her employees to tell her that I would file a complaint with the state and I wasn't going to pay that months rent. Then she finally called us but still wouldn't give us her bosses name. Every staff member kept saying how sorry they felt for us and how unproffesional their boss was acting. Then they charged us over 600 for a pet deposit and then a few months later called and told us were getting evicted for having pets without telling them. I showed her the pet aggrement we signed and the check we gave her. Then two months later we got the same eviction note again!!! Again, I went down there and showed them the paperwork and payment and go figure a few months later they sent the same note out again. They don't keep anything straight with the files down there. As the earlier post said about bugs, we had the same problem in our building. Everyone in my building has tons of bugs and lots and lots of bees. They didn't do anything about it. My husband and a neighbor bought a bunch of bee stuff and went around killing them. The last major problem is the garbage area. We only have one area to throw garbage and it is a compactor that breaks down like every other month if not every month. They only have it picked up once a week so every week before pickup it is overflowed onto the sidewalks and street. It looks horrible. For the money we pay in trash fees and the money they make you would think that they could afford to have one more pick up day. Other than the two staff members I really like it here. Oh and I thought it was just me who had problems, well my neighbors just had to be moved because they couldn't fix things wrong in their unit and they threatened them, and after talking to many other people they also have had many problems with the two top managers.
