New tenants in The Gables

Why is The Gables staff renting apartments to people who obviously cannot afford to live here' The Gables advertises itself as an upscale community, and the apartment rents reflect that...this is not a "low rent district." Yet, adult families are moving into the community, with their few belongings stuffed in their cars (which are on their last lap.) They have NO FURNITURE, and sleep either on the floor or on mattresses on the floor. I am not referring to young people who are starting out on their own, with minimal possessions. I am referring to people who don't value the need to own furniture because their lifestyles don't require it, or because they cannot afford it. I am also referring to the "Irish Travelers" who also are moving into the community in large numbers, and who also don't own furniture, and live in two-bedroom apartments, four adults and two children to a two-bedroom apartment. So, instead of two vehicle parking spaces alloted for one apartment, these apartment dwellers are occupying three spaces for trucks and one space for a car.
There are numerous apartment communities available to suit various budgets. If The Gables is going to lower its standards, then they should also correct their advertising to reflect the type of people they are interested in attracting.

I am not a tenet but, I can't not understand why this person would write something like this. Why would you care if a person sleeps on the floor or can't afford furniture. Who cares. That's their business-what concerns is it of yours. I can unsderstand the parking issue but, to rip all over someone becasue they don't have furniture or nice cars is completely ridiculous! You should watch what you say about and do to others. What goes around comes around.

to anita2005: you just don't get it! The standard of living your neighbors embrace has everything to do with wether or not you will enjoy living next to them (or under them!). People that have a lower standard of living, usually have a lifestyle that normally has little or no reguard for other people, and are not socially reponsible with others living around them. This is not a slam to anyone it is fact. But just tell the truth about anything nowadays and you're labled a biggot or racist. Behavior is the issue!! Although this review is a little sharp I agree with most of it. Financially responsible people are more likley to be more self-controlled and diciplined in how the live and interact with thier neighbors, so IT ALL MATTERS..think about it.
