I am a current resident whose lease expires at the end of August, and I
will be moving out at that time. I live in the 3-bedroom, and while
the apartment itself is quite nice and spacious, my experience has been
something of a let-down. It seems that the Gables doesn't care how many
people can fit into an apartment as long as they pay the rent. Tons of
college students lived in my building, and there are always cigarette
butts all over outside my door (and I don't even smoke!). Plus there
are neighbors who leave their trash outside the door or have hideously
tacky decorations. The staff is not all that motivated, and one leasing consultant in particular can
be downright rude. Maybe someone should show her these reviews so
she'll realize she needs to change her attitude ... Anyway, the concrete
plant is a major negative - there is always a film of dust on everything
outside (like your car) and on your furniture inside. The landscaping
is not well-maintained in my area (maybe because I'm not up front'). On
the other hand, I love the spaciousness, the light and the gigantic
bathtubs. It's just not worth $1400 a month, so I will be moving.


I am sorry to see so many false reviews and hope that people trying to
use this resource will realize that mine is one of the honest ones!

100% correct. Rude and nasty staff, poor repair staff and trach left everywhere!! A total dump!!

I have a question. What section is better to stay in, The front office section or across the street?

I live on the Front Office side and it's definitely better. Close to the pool and gym.
