After reading the postings, it is evident that The Gables has struggled with the same issues for a long time: poor customer service and poor maintenance. Spiders are still infesting apartments. If you request any maintenance, good luck on getting any response, other than a sneer. God forbid you should need a new filter for your ac unit. I would call the place a cash cow, but there seems to be a lot of empty apartments. I feel duped just for living here.

A month ago, someone set a dumpster on fire, so management sent a note out that they would soon be confiscating all charcoal grills. Apparently, someone dumped hot coals in the dumpster. Now I have a new piece of furniture in my dining niche, my charcoal grill. I dont know whether or not its legal for them to confiscate my grill from my patio, but Im too intimidated to test the waters.

Shame on whoever dumped the coals in the dumpster. Management had told us chilluns not to grill in the first place. A terse notice of this was sent out awhile back. I think that was about the same time they sent out a notice that all activity in the pool would be forbidden except standing still in one spot in the water.

I wish someone would pick up the pile of wood chips in the parking lot. They're an eyesore. They look like something from Jurassic Park took a ---- in our parking lot.

It seems the management is indifferent to the posts on here. Im just biding my time until my lease is up. If you know someone who has a nice residence for me and mine, Ill be glad to give my $1000/month to them.

WOW...another HONEST tenant!! This is the way it actually is and not the fantasy world the staff and other blind as a bat tenants!!
