I have lived here for over 2 yrs now. The floorplans are spacious and include walk-in closets and full-size w/d.... you get a lot for the rent. The place is now under new mgmt and in the midst of multi-million dollar remodel. Unfortunately, my rent has increased every year: $30 last yr, but only $10 this yr under the new mgmt. I have never had problems with pests or noise. It would be nice if there was better ventilation in the hallways so cooking odors, etc did not enter all apts in hallway(there are fire doors on both sides of hall and they r closed at all times). I have had to stuff a towel at the base of my door to stop the smells from entering my apt. The current remodel will help give the place the face-lift it has needed. My bldg is located on the side, and I?ve really had no problems with parking or children. There have been times when ants, moths and mosquitos have ben annoying right outside the front door. I have never had ants inside and I have called maintenance to take care of them outside every summer. The mosquitos and moths would not be a problem if there was another option for lighting outside the door. Maintenance has always come whenever I?ve called or set up an appt and they've done a thorough job. I also appreciate that they leave a slip detailing who was there and what was done. There are only 2 phone jacks in my apt and it?s been difficult to maneuver my 2 phones, DSL and digital cable. It would be nice if there was a 3rd jack- perhaps in the kitchen area. The only issue I really have though is that my most of my appliances are approx 10-12 yrs old and really should be replaced. They will probably be replaced as soon as I move out, of course. I have seen my friends' apts in other apt complexes and they have many more issues to deal with than I do. All in all, I have enjoyed living here and would recommend it.
