My husband,kids and I moved in not so long ago to a 2 bedroom apartment. We read the reviews and decided to take a chance...the major problems we read about were the office staff and parking and we figured it couldn't be as bad as the last place we lived so we gave it a shot and were horrified! For one thing our furniture didn't fit in the hallways or through the doors so we had to lift our massive couch up over the second floor balcony...that was interesting to see I'm sure! Parking really is the WORST! On many occasions we had to park at Blockbuster and walk home late at night with our kids.Our downstairs neighbors would fight a lot. We quit smoking and now we are constantly smelling smoke in our bathroom and people smoke in the halls all the time. The whole downstairs smells like a nasty litterbox...I guess some tenants aren't too keen on cleanliness around here!We have had our car dinged when we are able to park in the lot, we have had cars park literally INCHES from our car so we couldn't get in on either side and of course when you start beating down doors NOBODY knows who's cars they are! Someone set the maintenance shed on fire in October, there was an incident where a little boy drowned in the pond here around that time too. Parents just don't keep an eye on their kids here. We have had kids throw sticks and rocks at our balcony and windows because they see our dog inside! The day we moved in we took the plug out of our garbage disposal and that was the BIGGEST mistake! In just the few minutes it was unplugged the whole apartment smelled like musty mold. We called the office and they sent maintenance out the next day to dump some stuff down there...it may have been water because it did NOTHING! I tried bleach and lemons to no avail. Maintenance came out a total of 4 times in the first 2 weeks and we were told they would replace it...they didn't and to this day it STILL smells nasty! The appliances are definately older than I am, the washing machine doesn't wash clothes...it soaks them and that's it.When you fall on hard times they will NOT work with you at all...we are leaving in less than 3 weeks...GOOD RIDDANCE! It is not worth it to live here! Lots of ghetto trash!
