High rent prices - poor service.

We stayed in a one bedroom at AMLI for 1 year. We recently moved to another community (Lakeview Townhomes) nearby and are so amazed at how we are treated there, even though we are paying lesser rent than AMLI and now in a two bedroom. The staff at AMLI just wants your money, in any way they can. There is dog poop all over the complex and if you mention it to the management they smile and say it will be done. Also if you go there on a friday evening, it is mentioned with a "fake" smile that the poop will be picked up on Monday morning since the staff does not work on weekends. But they want you to pay your rent for the weekends ''' During winter, the walkaways are never cleared and you have to trudge through deep snow. I slipped over ice once and broke my ankle and am pursuing legal action against the community. Also if you mention about the ice in front of your walkway, in spite, the management hires contractors to come in at 2:00 in the morning with noisy snow blowers to clear the snow.
If you are planning to move into this community please read the other reviews and see for yourself what people who have lived here have to say by visiting the community yourself. Also if there is NO way you are convinced what we say, get in "writing" everything the staff promises, since they change every month, which speaks of how the management is run. There are many other nice communities around the area which we never realized until we shopped around.
Good luck in your apartment search.
