Recently looked at, applied for and was approved for a 1br at Legacy. However, I decided to pass because I had an uncomfortable experience with the head manager Doreen. She was VERY curt, aggressive and, unfortunately, condescending at times(confirming what others here have written). She may be unaware of how she comes across but I got the feeling she didn't really care much about professionalism. The gentleman who works in the leasing office was very professional though. I should have ditched the application and left but I was conflicted because I loved the apt.
This whole thing really is unfortunate because the apartment and grounds were very nice. A situation of having to throw the baby out with the bath water. The people in charge of a complex do set the tone and unless you like this type of treatment I would avoid the Legacy. I like having a good first impression of both a building and management but if you don't care about this Legacy may be suitable for you. Good Luck!

This does not surprise me. We have lived here two years now, and although the apartment is nice, any time I have to work with Doreen it is a nightmare. She says she has a tough job and people are ride to her- but she treats everyone like they are beneath her. As much as I hate to see anyone lose their job, it would be doing the apartment complex a great favor to lose Doreen.

^^Agreed. I don't know Doreen personally and have no place judging her but I was kind of expecting the "nice makes the world go round" style common to most leasing agents. I left the leasing office feeling really down about the experience. Thanks for ur reply and I hope the rest of your time there is good.

Agreed. Doreen should not be in charge of Anything. Thank God I looked at the reviews before signing the lease. She will run this nice place into the ground some day. It is just a matter of time.
