I've lived in Legacy at Fox Valley for over a year, and it's been a pleasant experience. Maintenance was extremely responsive, the staff was reasonable and friendly, plenty of nearby parking space, and insulation - both thermal and sound - was very good. Typical gas/electric bills were both in the $30s. Water/trash were included in the rent (gas heating and oven/stove). Appliances and fixtures worked well. Things were generally clean, with the minor annoyance of continual potato bug intrusion (I think there was an exterminator service, possibly free of charge, but I never took advantage of it). Being 2 miles from the Metra station is a huge plus. I-88 is about 15 minutes away, depending heavily on Rt. 59 traffic.

Right now I'm trying to decide whether to renew or move out, but if I leave, it will be because of rent costs rather than bad experiences. If it fits in your budget, though, Legacy's a good place to live.
