You get what you pay for...

I lived in a studio "garden" apartment of theirs for 2 years. I had several issues with this place...
1. Bugs. I had so many issues with bugs, that I didnt even want to sleep with the lights off for fear of the roaches that would come out. After I found the first roach, I called Kay (the manager) and alerted her of the situation, and she pretty much blamed me for the infestation! She had an exterminator come out 2 times to fix the issue, and the maintenance men came and "fixed" the holes in the wall that were under the sink, a possible way for these bugs to come from. Their solution: duck tape. I also had other problems with other random beetles and other strange things because the windows were CRAP!! So it was soo very easy for them to come in.
2. Mold. Now, because there was a 2 inch gap from the bathtub to the sink/counter, there was MAJOR mold damage that was spread over a very large area, very gross. You would think that they would have fixed this issue, if not for tenet appeal, at least for the water damage to the wall
3. Water damage: Every time it rained a lot, there would be a small pool of water that would form on the floor. I'm guessing the foundation wasn't very good and perhaps it didnt help that there was a hole in the baseboard that allowed the water to seep in. It ruined a book shelf of mine because it had gone on for so long with out me really noticing it.
4. Tenets: Now because the rent was so low, and the studios were already furnished, we seemed to get a lot of low life people in there. There was even a drunk deaf man who lived upstairs who would lock himself out countless times and be VERY loud. After several complaints, nothing still happened. Also, in the laundry room, there were several occasions where (only 3 girls lived in the building, all the rest, 13 men)women's laundry would be stolen (NO JOKE!!) So, I ended up doing laundry at my folks house.
You pretty much get what you pay for, If you really want anything done, you need to actually complain to the owners of the property and not the property manager. I was in a jam at the time, and so at first, this place was amazing, all furnished! But then, it just turned into a nightmare.
I would not suggest this place to anyone.
