As I recall, June was an exceptionally wet month. If you owned a home, you would be in the same situation,except you would have to sell in order to move.

It did not rain everyday of the month. I suppose if I was to loose my job and could not pay the rent would that be my excuse because of the rain. A lease agreement is a lease agreement. The lawyer did not say anything about rain. And if I did own a home I would have made sure it got fixed when it was not raining.

If everyone just calls the City of Batavia and complain they have to make the Lorlyn fix the problems they have. I talked to the Illinois Health Dept. and they told me that there are maintenance and plumbing codes that the City of Batavia have to make the Lorlyn abide by. So I believe if enough people do this then we can make something happen.
