Lorlyn of Batavia Apartments has time and time again proven their inability to properly manage an apartment complex. Poor living quality and dirty carpet, that was deemed satisfactory by management is, all but clean. The lease was prepared dishonestly and their move-in special are a scam. The amenities were useless for anyone that works a 9-5 job or anyone that likes to swim as the pool was always closed (probably for health code reasons). Simply stated, you do not want to live here. Yeah, this place has a bad mold problem. The tenants know it, the management knows it. I suggest everyone report them to the health department. They are shaking in their little boots about it too. It's a big violation to not replace windows/doors/etc. when there is a mold problem. Mold can cause serious health problems. If you have been exposed to the mold in this place and you suffered from different sicknesses, don't hesitate to consider a class-action suit. This place has it coming.

It sounds like you guy's have nothing better to do-it sounds like you might be a resident that doesn't like to pay rent or under eviction for non-payment of rent. I live here and I love it, of course I don't have any problems at all I work for the Health Dept.I've not seen any mold,also the pool is open daily I enjoy it you guy's don't have a life find some thing positive to do with your self.

That comment was probably from Rose(the incompetent office manager). She probably spends her day writing good reviews because they get so many bad ones. You say you work for the health department and you live in the lorlyn? That's a laugh because ALL the tenants have mold or cockroaches or ants or mice or leakage from the ceiling.The lists goes on and on.

I lived there in from 1989-1991 2 year lease and these issues were there if your from the health dept. your taking a kickback from the company that owns it and I will find out. The defender of Batavia DR1

Every apartment except for the "show apartments" are CRAP! THe way to fix the mold and mildew??? YEA send Rosa to spray primer over it. WTH was that supposed to do? I am soooo glad we got out of there. Our new place is smaller, but I'd take that any day compared to Lorlyn. Not to mention the rent os over $200 cheaper here.... Final thought.. It's REALLY FUNNY that the 'good' reviews are all anonymous!
