Don't get me wrong. York brook is very well kept. Every morning I see the maintenence guys going around the parking lot picking up any litter they may find. The flowers are always pretty and alive. The first sign of accumulating snow and the plows are down and the lot is salted. I even saw the maintenence guys brushing snow off of the cars and digging them out. The apartments are roomy for the price. They don't have central air but a couple celing fans help alot!! When I moved in my interior doors were dark dark dark brown. They painted them white last year for me. They are updating the units slowly but surely. The gals in the office are great! If you work with them they are more than willing to work with you!! If you let the girls know you are going on a vacation let them know about your plants and they will come in and water them for you!! The staff is really friendly and willing to do what they can for you. The key is be polite and understanding. The only reason I cant wait to move is that I want a house. I'm tired of renting a mortgage. I really did enjoy my stay at Yorkbrook. I have compared other complexes and if you want to live in a getto you could find something cheaper but not as big or safe.
