It looks all cozy from the outside when you drive by just that first time. The apartment in and of itself, not that bad either. Please, take it from me. It will take less than a week for you to understand why this place is so cheap. The maintainance on the apartment I live in is pisspoor. There are things fall off the walls, paint everywhere, caulking separating from the tub. They tell you it's quiet--not so much. My neighbors were the farthest thing from it. TVs and stereos blaring, yelling at each other, cursing at each other. The neighborhood is very low income... The renters tell you things like you can post date checks and they pay no attention when you submit your check, and cash it anyway. The police have visited my neighborhood on several occasions for complaints from other neighbors, and who knows what else. Beauty truly is only skin deep in this case. Save yourself the mess and the stress.
