I moved into Camden 6 months ago on a job transfer. I advised them that I may need to break my lease if my job transferred again. They advised that they would be able to work something out with me if this were to occur. It happened and I was forced back to St. Louis. I went back to them and they looked at me like I was stupid or something. They advised that I signed the 1 year contract and I was forced to pay all costs that were stated. I was forced to pay 2 months rent plus the $500 that I got as a signing bonus. They were all very unrespectful and do not care about the good being of the residents. They simply care about a quick buck. Whatever it takes to make money, they will do. They disrespected me and forced me to pay a total of $3,000 when I was not even present in the apartment for 2 1/2 months. The apartment was OK, but overpriced with a horrible maintenance staff of office personnel. DON'T PLAN ON ANYTHING EVER GETTING FIXED OR RESOLVED. IF IT DOES, MOST LIKELY IT WILL COST YOU. STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN!!!!!
