I lived at the 212 building on the 3rd floor for a year. When I first moved in I had to have them repair/replace multiple things. Probably most notable was that one of the cabinet doors in the kitchen had somehow been split, and they had used staples to reconnect the split wood on the outside of the cabinet door! That and the sole phone jack in the whole place had been physically disconnected from the wall. They made me have AmeriTech come out to fix it and I had to pay for it. Too which they credited me on my next months rent, but regardless - that was my move-in experience.

The parking is a joke. Quite the nightmare if you plan on having company over and forget to get any visitor passes for them to park in the lot (use the church parking lot across the street otherwise you will be towed after nightfall). Do you see where I am going with this'

Yes the black with blue hue looking wasp?s were a problem all Summer long, and the laundry room was more often than not without one of the washers or dryers due too maintenance needs. But overall it was just a regular, low-cost apartment complex.

The grounds are rolling and green (except when it snows - duh). The Pool was always cleaned daily during the Spring/Summer months(I was unemployed for about 3 months during the Summer and watched the kids that check everyone into the Pool area clean it. So it was pretty true to form).

If you are a college student looking for a starter place or just something that is close to the Glen Ellyn Metra station it?s not a bad gig. You may also want to look at the Stonegate Apartments there off of Army Trail and Gregory Avenue. That is where I first lived when I had moved to IL back in 2000. They were one of the best places to live in the area.
