I lived at Stratford Place for 3 1/2 years and found it to be an excellent community. The office staff is extremely professional and helpful. Each time I asked for assistance, made a request or picked up a package, I was greeted with a smile. The girls in the office went beyond their expectations. The maintenance team always was responsive and thorough. Instead of fixing something with duct tape and chewing gum, the approach was always ?replace it?. By the time I moved, I practically had all new appliances!

When I moved out, I was faced with terminating my lease 6 months early. I was expecting to encounter extraneous charges and legal fuss (seeing as how the community is owned by a large property management company) but much to my surprise, the office staff did everything they could to help me with my situation. I paid a small lease-term penalty and was able to move without any headaches.

Bloomingdale is a nice, quiet city with a polite and professional police force, coupled with this apartment community, it is a no-lose scenario.

I lived here for the past 7 years and it has been great up until it was bought out by the new management (owners) and now it seems like they don't care about the residents at all . For example they had a party back in Oct for the residents and they ran out of pizza , come on the last management (Traci)was great and she really knew how to make the residents feel like home and when she had a party it wasn't cheap and bottom line feeling like they showed . The residents business center for example has had a printer with the same old used toner that has not been change in the last two months which I told the staff and it seems like all they care about is getting the apartments filled and not really going out of there way to provide good services to people who lived here for years and paid there rent on time ..I still love living here but the new management needs to be more resident friendly with people who been here for a while and do notice the changes with how management does things .
