I'm not here to say the arbors is first class. The buildings are old, but they tell you that during your initial visit. There are irritating problems with plumbing and fixtures. No big deal, just drips and clogs and an outlet that won't work here and there. The appliances are small and not exactly fancy, but they work. The windows are drafty. On the other side of the coin, the office staff are friendly and remember your name. The maintenance guys are great and help right away if you go straight to them; they get right on the problem and fix it right there. There are jerks in every neighborhood and I won't say there aren't a couple here too, but for the most part, this is a great little community. It's family oriented and you can count on at least one adult always watching the children outside. You don't have to worry too much about them being safe while playing. The complex is within walking distance of 2 grocery stores and a bunch of assorted shops, plus a couple of restaurants. The school district is wonderful. I have heard in the past that the arbors was kind of a rough place, but management has prety well cleaned those people out and keep up on the residents who "misbehave" now. They don't seem to last long. All in all...the townhouses and apartments could use an upgrade, but I love the place and the people who live here. It's going to be sad when I buy my house and have to move away.

How can you say so many bad things about this place yet still give it such a high approval rating? Your ratings seem only very high for the maintenance and office staff. Interesting

You must be an employee of the Arbors, apparently kissing up for your job, because anyone who has lived there, or even visited friends there, could see that the place is a dump. How surprisingly convenient that the riff-raff and drug dealers weren't by your building. How convenient that everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful towards you, but not to the rest of the paying tenants. I guess if someone is on Section-8 and not paying out of pocket it might seem like a good deal, but even then it would be a stretch.
