Hey Arborstaff,
Why don??t you correct your web site then to show the real condition of this run down complex' Your website is VERY deceiving. You talk of a ??large rehab and repair project to these 30 y/o buildings?? This shows that even YOU yourself admit the many negative post concerning the condition of this property is true. If these apartments really housed 700 people you would have had the funds to keep these units updated. Half the units seem vacant. Parking is not a problem because most buildings are not full. If you are looking for an apartment in Bloomington/Normal there is a lot to choose from. Many with free heat, cable and at the same price or sometimes less. Who is going to pay for this ??Large rehab and repair '?? Who else the tenants. We moved into a house last summer. PLEASE if you consider moving here BEFORE SIGNING A LEASE ask to see the apartment or townhome YOU will be living in, ask for a tour of the grounds including all the amenities, ask to see the laundry. Take every post here serious. You have the management of this place posting, actually telling you they have ??ISSUES?? This so called rehab and repair project, I moved out 7 months ago, I drive by this place rather often. Nothing has changed the place looks exactly the same as it did then. Not a single updated building.

have you driven by within the last 3 weeks, anyone can see the remodeling going on in the front buildings, I agree, ask the people in the office to see everything, do your homework, you'll find that it is not the Taj Mahal, but a decent apt in a great location, with good people and affordable prices. One other point, who pays for rehabs at other properties, isn't it the residents? I guess it a tough concept to grasp. Lastly from what I've been told in a letter to the current residents is that 44 units are vacant, the first wave of condo conversions, thus many vacant units.
