Not as good as they want the public to think...

We have been having difficulties with neighbors throwing trash over their balcony railing, which the wind blows it onto our balcony. Neighbors are also throwing trash such as fast food containers and drink cups, pop cans, bags, etc. in the parking lot. The landscaping is terrible. A couple of times we overpaid the rent, and was told by the manager that when a tenant does that, they don't credit it to your account. She also said 'It's too complicated for her to keep track of. It's a waste of my time.' There have been quite a few burned out lights that they haven't replaced for about 6 months, along with some broken glass from broken lights which they haven't cleaned for even longer. The parking is not even adequate, and it is hard to get in and out... you have to go through TGIFriday's parking lot to get to it. The management is snobbish, the maintenance crew is slow and stands around most of the time, and I even overheard one of the maintenance employees making a derogatory statement about the religion of some of the residents. One of the maintenance crew employee's children wander around in the parking lot and everywhere else they want to go without supervision. One of the children even threw a basketball through a tenant's window. You can hear other tenants snoring, and when some neighbor closes a door too hard, it shskes the walls of the building. Some of the tenants play very loud music, and nothing ever seems to be done about it. There is rust on and around the doors that they said last year was going to be repaired... never did. They also said they would provide salt for the walkways and stairs... that was a lie. The cement stairs are cracking. The workout room never gets cleaned... one of the treadmills shocks you when you touch the metal on it. The rule about having no pets over 35 pounds'....there are some 'favorite' people that have dogs over 50 pounds... favoritism. The 'no swimming after hours' rule' The tenants go to the pool after hours with alcohol.... even management... and drink while in the pool. The payphone by the pool for emergencies' It doesn't work! The internet provider is terrible... down quite often. For the price, it's not worth the headaches!

This is truly pathetic, and since I feel sorry for your inability to operate as an effective human being, I'm going to solve all your problems right now.
1) dump the trash in your balcony in front of the door of the people above you w/ a nice note. they'll get the picture.
2) Be thankful you get ANY landscaping... you're in front of 2 lakes, give it a rest. watch some HGTV and give a whirl yourself.
3) Overpaid the rent?? MORE THAN ONCE?!?! If you're that dumb I'd keep your money too.
4) If the lights have been burned out 6 months, or the broken ones sitting around even longer, clearly they don't bother you very much. *rolling eyes*
5) I know how you feel about hard-to-get places driving. There's always all these roads and stop lights and cars in the way. sometimes I even have to turn, or avoid obstacles. its ridiculous.
6) Don't talk to them
7) Stop breaking stuff
8) Earplugs
9) See #4
This is unbelievable.
Seriously... mind your own. What do you care if there are people in the pool? What do you care about the damn dogs? Are you frickin mother teresa? get a clue. you might be the biggest prima donna i've never met. do something with your life besides complain.

The comment posted on 8/31/2005 is accurate to my experience and I did not post it. The response on 4/21/2008 sounds like something written by management. Given my experience, it would not surprise me that they would post such a response.
