My fiance and I have lived here for almost a year and we love it. The neighbors are friendly and the staff is great. I have never lived at an apartment complex that went above and beyond like they do. The other day in an ice storm I saw the manager salting all the side walks herself. I bartend and one night I came home and saw her helping a resident at 3am with her apartment after their sprinklers were accidentally set off by the renter. Any minor maintenance issue we have had has been taken care of quickly. Katie in the office has all ways been friendly and helpful with any question we have. Amy was wonderful and upfront about what this place had to offer. She informed me that my drive to school would be close to 20-25min, but Matt (fiance) and I decided this was the nicest place at a good price with good perks...( I love having a 24hour work out center!) I have read the past reviews and I am just baffled. I just want to say THANK YOU BROOKRIDGE! We have enjoyed living here and will continue to :)

I did shop around. You can rent a crappy house for the same price in a neighborhood you'd get robbed in. I left to buy a house and I got my deposit back. Did you ever wonder if the problem was you?

Yep, one of the priciest places you could choose, and... you obviously only dealt with one face per two-faced staff member or you'd change your perspective. Take a look at the other reviews, and you'll see the problem isn't the person who posted the first response. He/she's not the only one; positive comments about these people are rare.

Haven't shopped around? I landed a house on E Buchanan St for $550 a month. The landlord is Denny from Denny's doughnuts. The nicest guy you could ever have as a landlord. 2br house, huge yard, full basement, covered porch, family neighborhood, allows pets(oh my gosh, an american pitbull terrier even! don't expect that from Crookridge Heights), couldn't ask for a nicer area. The problem wasn't me. I was and always have been a perfect, respectful tenant. I NEVER paid rent a day late, kept to myself, was very clean and quiet and had plenty of friends in Crookridge Heights. The problem was the management. Just because you inparticular haven't had any problems with them(although I think you, are actually them posting here), don't assume there isn't an issue. Plenty of other are speaking up on here and it is clear the problem lies with the management....very very clear.
