The rent is high for what you get and they raise the rent every year, $10. The apartment is small (1 bedroom) but well maintained. I can't complain about the rent or apartment as I new what the rent was and what the apartment looked like. It's in a very nice area of Bloomington and I have never had any problems with crime here. The neighbors, most are very nice but, well if you like the feeling of living in what I like to call "Little Pakistan", has a feel of a refugee camp complete with gates at the entry, the smell of their food is stomach turning at times and they are a little strange in the things they do. However, we all must live together and tollerate our differences. Regarding the extras, club house, pool/jacuzzi, gates etc. The gates are rarely closed in the winter, so much for security. The pool is very nice and a great place to meet others from the apartment complex. The jacuzzi has been broke for a year and no fix in sight, I'll be surprised if it's fixed for 2009 opening day. The club house is very nice and clean. The workout room is clean but really does not have much for as many people that live here. The staff, very nice to deal with and friendly, on occasion you do get conflicting information from them. Always very nice and appear to know their tenants very well which is nice. All in all a nice place to live but over priced. I'm looking to leave for that reason only.
