When we first moved in they agreed to pay for the cost of heat and water. Last year they added central air and furnaces in each unit. We were then in charge of paying for our own heating. I didn't mind paying the heating bills but I do mind the virtually non-existent windows. Every years we have to put up plastic over the windows to keep out the draft. That adds to our heating bills and the expense of the plastic. The maintenance guys are very friendly, however, they take forever to fix things in the apartments. The lawn is not very well taken care of. I have children and I worry every time they go out to play because of the huge branches in the yard. Most years I try to pick up the big stuff myself. Something you shouldn't have to do in an apartment complex.
