This was my first apartment and I asked the Lou in the management if they had roaches and he said no. Come to find out a day after I move in ROACHES were in my bathroom and kitchen. They supposedly have a service agreement that lets you out of your lease 15 days from move in with no penalty if there is a problem. This is just a piece of paper and means nothing to them unless you make some noise. I called the woman in the office and asked for a copy of my lease and that I was moving out and she acted like she did not want to give it to me. Finally I brought my parents to the leasing office and they quickly changed their tune. There were so many things wrong with the place it was rediculous. The dishwasher did not work, the toilet knob was broke. My cable would not connect right and I could not get phone service. This is not a place you want to live. It is ghetto and it looks like the projects. No one feels safe going home at night. The management knows they have roaches because as soon as I walked in the residents began telling me horror stories about roaches. Unless you want to pay rent for other occupants like roaches look somewhere else. I moved to Timber Creek in Woodridge which is much nicer with a fire place and balcony for only $26 more.
