I lived here for over 2 years, after living in Willowbrook for a year. There were a couple of MINOR problems (windows not well insulated), but the apartment was clean, NO ROACHES, and problems were addressed within 48 hours. I never paid a water bill, and heat/stove were gas (which was included).
The only odors in the hall were from neighbors cooking, and the only noise I ever heard was due to my apartment being next to a back exit.
The apartments are also very conveniently placed near a Meijers, laundromat, IKEA, bank, and I-355 access. I've lived in apartments in several cities across the country, and this ranked slightly above average, especially in price/amenities (most apartments in this price range do not include ANY utilities, except possibly partial water).
