Economical Apartments in a Great Community

I've been living at Innsbruck since 2001. It's been a good place to live and I love Bolingbrook. The gas and water are included. Electricity averages about $30 a month. It goes up during the summer due to central air conditioning. I live in a one bedroom. If you moved into a 1 bedroom in Naperville or Lisle you would pay at least $100 more a month. Prices for a 1 bedroom in nearby Woodrige are comparable.
The one bedroom apartment is spacious with the exception of the kitchen. If you're a real deal cook, that might present a problem. You have to make it home pretty early in the afternoon in order to get a good parking space close to your building, otherwise, you may have to park in another building's parking lot.
I have seen one or two roaches a year over the last five years in my apartment and outside the apartment. However, these buildings have approximately 15 apartments per floor and three floors. Some units are multi-unit. Also, there are about 5 buildings. I don't have the expectation that I'll never see a bug. Also, they do exterminate, regularly. Lastly, I have never, in the five years I've been living here, encountered a broken washing machine or dryer. Maybe I've been fortunate.
Maintenance has always responded to issues inside my apartment and with the building in a timely manner; non-emergencies within 48 hours and emergencies within hours that the complaint was made. The only complaint I have about the maintenance crew is they don't clean up well after themselves after they finish doing work on your apartment. When I complained the management offered to have maintenance come in and pick up and vacuum my floor. I didn't accept the offer, but I appreciated it. Also, you can request that they do not enter for maintenance issues unless you're there.
If you get an apartment with a view of the brook, you can see geese, ducks, and even swans landing and taking off in the water. The landscaping is attractive. There is a pool open in the late spring. However, the tennis courts should be rennovated, or turned into something more useful.
The apartments are conveniently located near I-355, Meijers, Ikea, and Staples. There's a bank right across the street. There's a small strip mall right across the street with a couple of pretty good restaurants. There's a Jewel Foodstore within walking distance. There are two movie theaters very close. Also, there are 26 more stores being built right next door, including Macy's and Starbucks.
Summarily, this is a decent and economical place to live with a responsive and attentive staff. I have come home at all hours of the night and I have never had any problems or fear and I'm a single woman. It's also in a very nice and ethnically/racially diverse area that is growing economically.
Put the previous reviews in perspective. There are between 225-400 people living in this complex, between the five buildings. Only 20 people have rated these apartments on this site. So, worst case scenario is that about 5%-10% of the people don't like living here. That's not too bad.

You notice that areas that are no longer considered "nice" are no longer all white.
