I absolutely hated living in these apartments. Here is a list of things I hated the most.
1. It always smelled in the hallways
2. There was never any parking
3. Everything was broken no matter how many times it was so called fixed.
4. I wouldn't allow my kids to play outside because I didn't trust anyone.
5. The neighbors above never went to sleep.
6. The neighbors next door always argued.
7. The neighbors down the hall had 200 people living with them.
8. Someones furniture and belongings sat on the front lawn for a week or more after being evited. Other tenants sat outside discussing how long they're going to wait before they steal the things on the lawn.
9. People were smoking marijuana right in the front.
10.My stove was broken, and I called to get maintenance to come out right away. They told me they don't consider that an emergency, and that I had to wait until the next day. My kids were hungry and I couldn't even feed them what I had already started cooking.
11. I entered into a short term lease (3 months), because my home was being built. I told the Amberton employee that I signed up with when I planned on moving from day one. They have a policy that you have to give them 60 days notice in writing when you plan on moving. I moved out within 60 days from the time I moved in, which means I would have been giving the written notice on day one. They charged me one months rent extra, and I did not get my deposit back. We paid for a total of 2 months extra rent, and we weren't even living there anymore.
12. Oh yeah, the front door to the apartment complex was broken from the time I moved in to the time I moved out, and I complained several times, and it never got fixed. I did not feel safe at all.

To sum it up, this place disgusts me and everytime I drive past I have to turn my head.

I don't suggest anyone move here, unless you want to deal with a lot of drama.
