I will make this short, since everything has pretty much been said. If you have kids, please for their sake, keep looking for another home for them. I have a two year old son and this is not the hell hole he will grow up in. I was 9 month pregnant with him when we moved in. They don't tell you they have sex offenders living here. We moved here because the model was beautiful and they accepted our dog. What a mistake that was. I should of known I was going to have nothing but problems, the day I moved in, my stove was broke. I wasn't even there a week and had to have maintenance come out. It only took them a week and a half to get there. When it rains outside it rains in my apartment as well. The windows were supposed to be new when we moved in. It is not a safe commplex to live in. The doors are never locked, entercom doesn't work. People are constantly walking in and out of buildings. There is a man that comes over to my building to do his laundry and he lives in a total different building. I would like to know how he got a key to the building I am in. But I have yet to hear back from the office about it, 3 weeks and waiting. At night, there are weird people walking around the complex. Being a women, I hate the fact that when I come home late, I have to bolt from my car to the door, and hope I make it their safe. Amberton could care less about there residnets, as long as they have a check by the first-oh and if its in before the first, you could win the early bird specaial. Good Luck. And they charge you a $125.00 fee if your late. It takes them forever to come to your apartment when you need them, but they are there right on time to put that "5 day notice to pay rent or quit" on you door. Like I said, think about your children and the saftey for yourself, before you sign papers with this hell hole!
