Think twice before choosing Riverstone

I was new to the area when I moved to Illinois and I thought I was getting a good deal, but I was misled. Some of the staff members were very unprofessional, racist and rude. The policies change from day to day and compliant go unresolved. The facility workers are allowed to enter your apartment without contacting you first and are not required to leave any notice saying that they were there. They move thing around, leave lights on and blinds open. As a single person it is scary coming home to find things not the way you left them and with no explanation. The only way to get questions answered about company policies in to contact the corporate office. Make sure you request a parking permit because they will forget to tell you need one and your car will get towed.

From experience, I tell EVERYONE I know that is moving to Bolingbrook to avoid Riverstone! For MANY YEARS, RiverStone Apartments (formerly Amberton Apartments) has had terrible management problems and seems like they always will. Sorry about your mishap with them.
