I live here throughout my college years and its a wonder how i even got my degree while dealing with this place. First off, the office team is very rude and just plain mean at times. When i walked into the leasing office to inquire about anything, i would just stand there for about 5 minutes before anyone decided to greet me (let alone give me any help). Each year i renewed my lease, my rent went up a ridiculous amount that they call "market rate"...over 3 years my rent went up over almost 100 dollars. All the ladies in the office will never call you back about anything unless it has to do with getting some money. The maintenance will freely come into your apartment when you are not there, and always come 3 to 4 days late...and one of them actually hit on my girlfriend at the time, while he fixed my toilet. The toilets flooded into the hallways on 3 seperate occasions during my stay. The outside doors never worked, so anyone could just come in whenever they wanted. And they will tow cars without stickers at 9pm at night (just imagine if you have friends over). Even my car was towed once (and i had a valid parking sticker). Their whole deal with ----'s Towing is a fraud...if you ever got back to your apartment past 10pm, there was nowhere to park, PERIOD. so you were forced to park on the street and you had to call the Police department & let then kno you were parking there, to avoid a tow (how crazy). All the appliances and fixtures are cheap and WILL break or fall apart....i had roaches twice....and my air conditioner only blew cold air sometimes. O, and the walls in your bathroom and all over your apartment will bleed a yellow color (this is a result of cheap paint being painted over many many layers of older and even cheaper paint- i cant make this up). The only reason i stayed here is because i couldnt afford anything else....dont move here, this place is a joke...Bye

Well, sadly welcome to the club! You're one of hundreds of people that have had and will continue to have a bad experience with Riverstone Apts (formerly Amberton Apts.) I've posted it many times before that this company makes up rules as they go along, plus it's pitiful of how unprofessional the staff performs. You can dress up something on the outside to look nice, but on the inside, it can be JUST A HOT MESS! Sorry for your ordeal.

Ok, seriously? I am on my third year here now. I have not seen a tow truck by my apartment since March. Parking has gotten better by my building. I have had problems with the office people as well. If you can not get a response from the office people or the manager, look up the number for the management company, they will give you the number to the property manager, and if she doesn't resolve the problem, call them back. They have no problem talking to the residents. It is AMC I believe. I have never had a problem with any of my appliances. They were brand new when I moved in. If you had a problem with your air, maintenance would replace it. They did for me. I am a single female living in the complex and have never been hit on by maintenance. It can be aggrevating to live here, but it isn't that bad. you have to realize that there are a bunch of builing on the property and only so many maintenance people. Just let it go.

how much you want to bet the last message about these apts not being that bad comes directly from the office....funny how it is anonymous right? how is it there are so many bad reviews then all of the sudden someone writes nothing but positive things....this person would have to work in the office because how can they be sure no maintenance would hit on a female? must be psychic to know everything about what goes on in these apts all the time....seriously people use your brain...if i looks like a snake, moves like a snake. it's probably a snake....lol

To Anonymous: I have let it go...this is why i dont live there anymore. I am just expressing the problems that i personally had. I know everyone will have a different opinion of how Riverstone is, but this is my story and i have no reason to lie...lol. You may have very well had a good stay here and that is great, but i did not and i wanted to share that.

to the point....these apts are ------! along with the personalities of the of many but 1 main girl in the office karina! these "leasing agents" are ridiculous! WATCH OUT FOR THEM TO BE ARGUING WITH THERE BOYFRIENDS IN FRONT OF THE OFFICE AND COPS TO BE CALLED!!! ghetttttoooo!! They need to start cleaning these apts up! especially the drug ones in the back that have DRUG parties all the time. I go to school too and it WAS frustrating dealing with all these ghetto men. a few months back a short man all tattooed up trying to hit on 1 of my friends in the parking lot. then tellin us he is with or was with 1 of the dumb broads in the office. Telling us about the tow trucks and how scandelous they are. Even told us to move out or else when our lease was up! Wow! then after my friend turned him down he watched as she pulled away. What a flippin creep! cant get groceries in the house without getting crap. this place is ghetto, im glad i left! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
