my biggest complaint, BUGS....everywhere. earwigs, silverfish. when people complain, the manager says to keep a cleaner home. it doesn't matter how clean your home is, you still find them on your dishes frequently.
the maintenance people never fix things. it can take months of asking to get them to come, and when they come it doesn't get fixed so you have to ask them over and over again.
the post office has told management the mailboxes are too small. nothings been done about it so the mailman takes it out on the residents by shoving and bending our mail in and often leaves the boxes open. maybe he thinks if we complain they'll do something, but they don't.
the washer or dryer goes out of order every few months and can take over a week to be fixed.
the neighbor kids run around making noise and causing trouble. they broke my car windshield but i had no way to prove who it was.
when you move out they send you a bill of expenses. they change the carpet automatically when people move, but charge you for it and come up with lame excuses why you were charged $600 for it.
the only reason to live here is because buffalo grove is an expensive place to live, and these apartments are cheaper than a condo. but they raise the rent cost every year you live here, so eventually it's not even cost efficient.
