I've lived in worse.
The rent is rediclous for what you get. Our apartment was supposed to be 840 a month, and when they remembered it had a pond view (as if theres any shortage of ponds here) they jacked it up to 890 plus utilities, we're paying over 900 a month for a place thats hardly 700 sq ft. Considering I had an 800 sq ft apartment in Austin tx for 525, this is rediculous.
If you move here be prepared for crappy work inside. The walls are coming apart, the doors are hollow, and there are spiders EVERYWHERE. Its expensive to heat in winter and there's a huge draft from the fireplace. The staff are usually nice, but it that frivious "have to make a sale" sort of way. The edge of the sink is even flaking off where it was painted over.
They let us have caged animals with no fee, but I believe the pet deposit is 500ish and is not refundable.
Parking is okay, i've never had to park that far away from my door, but security could step up, I had all my CDs stolen out of my car.
Oh yeah, they charge you bloody 1.15 to wash or dry anything. Dont waste your money.
