I first want to say that the person we were dealing with was very nice. Claudia is an asset to the complex. That being said the apartments are not worth what they are charging in my opinion.

We were looking at the 2 bedroom Chevey Chase model. We first took a look at the model across the street from the office and it was perfect even at $1225.00 a month. It was clean the walls were in great shape, the kitchen was very nice and the appliances were decent. The bathrooms were also in very good shape. It had in my opinion a condo feel not that of an apartment.

I am a sceptical person by nature and I wanted to see an actual vacant apartment before filling out any paper work.

All I can say is wow what a huge disapointment compaired to the model. It was dirty, you could see places where they patched big holes in the walls (very unprofessionaly I might add), the counters were a light blue with dark wood cabinets and they used white caulk to fill in a 1/4" gap where the backsplash and counter top meet. First there shouldn't be a gap here period let alone one that large. They should not have used white caulk either. If your going to take the cheap way out and caulk it atleast get a color to match the coutertop so it isn't so noticable. There were so many layers of paint on the walls and the trim That everything just looked bad. The doors also had a hard time closing and opening do to multiple layers of paint. The appliances were very old and just looked run down and dirty. I also read a few of the reviews here that complained about the smell and it was very noticalbe as soon as we walked into the front door of the building. There was more we found but you get the point.

I am sure your thinking man this guy is picky and you would be right. I am very picky and why not when the prices are as high as these are' These apartments would be ok if the price for this unit was in the $850.00 - $950.00 price range but it's not even close to being worth what they are charging. I think at one time these were very nice top of the line apartments but it's obvious they haven't put any money back into these units in years.

I understand why they make the model look perfect but that doesn't make it right. If they are willing to misslead you right from the start what else will happen down the road once the lease is signed' The bottom line is that this is a very dishonest and unethical way to run a business.
