I recently moved to the State of Kansas, but my husband and I lived in The Wheatlands for 7 years. My husband was handicapped and in a wheel chair for the entire time of residence, so we had some special needs. The Wheatlands installed all of our special equipment in the apartment for us. Any maintenance calls (although few) were always handled within 24 hours by an extremely courteous maintenance staff. The snow was always cleared from the sidewalk ramps and parking lots and the office staff was extremely helpful and courteous. We had a beautiful view in our 3-bedroom apartment, plus adequate storage space. We moved from a house to an apartment and it was a fairly easy transition moving to the Wheatlands. It is also within 5 mins of I-94, so access by car to anywhere in the Chicago metro area was very convenient. My 7-year experience at the Wheatlands was absolutely wonderful. On a scale of 1-10, The Wheatlands would come in at a 10, easily.
