We searched all over Chicagoland for a newer/roomier apartment for me and my bride. We found other places nearby with as much space but AMLI has the most efficient design and makes the most of your space. Patios and porches are large. Parking is unassigned and there is just enough. The community is ideal for young couples like us. No gheto blasting cars, trash lying around, rude behavior or otherwise. They allow all kinds of dogs and do something that I think most pet owners like. They put all large animal owners in the same buildings. This avoids the constant concern of neighbors who are fearful of animals, which is common in these bigger cities in this part of the country. Plenty of green grass and pet stations with bags. So if you are a renting pet owner, this is probably the kind of place you are looking for.

What else' Kathy at the main office is great. She seems to remember everything about us and is easy to talk to (or help with picking up packages!). :) Maintenance is quick, competent and polite. I have lived in an AMLI apartment in Austin, Texas and have found the same high standards and attention to detail that stands out here.
